Touching ACTS Registers As Public Benefit Organisation with SARS

Touching Acts NPC has been officially registered by the South African Revenue Services (SARS) as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) effective from 11 May 2020.

We are proud to announce that we have been successfully registered as a PBO by SARS after meeting all conditions and requirements contained in Section 30 of the Income Tax Act, 1962. This excites us because our donors that are registered with SARS will start to receive tax exemptions from SARS, meaning our donors will benefit from their kind gestures.

What this means is, you will receive a tax deduction on your taxable income by declaring that you donated to Touching Acts NPC. Furthermore, companies will receive up to 10% of the company’s taxable income as a deduction. This exemption is up to R100 000 for individuals.

At the end of each financial year, Touching Acts will issue all its donors with a Section 18A receipt which recognizes the donation.

We are truly happy to have finalized this process as we believe it will add more value to our donors, not your donations have not been coming from the heart. This is a means to ensure the laws of this country benefit all our donors as well.

Thank you for your continued support.
