We were treated to a surprise visit by our international donors on Friday 14 February, who came to see the new boarding home and offices for Touching Acts.
At Touching Acts (TA), we celebrated Valentine’s Day in style as we hosted our donors from America who wanted to spend some time with the beneficiaries and to also tour the new boarding home. The donors, Jenny McConnachie, Miranda and Carla have supported TA since the year 2019.
“I am so impressed with the boarding house and so lovely to see the children all so happy”, Jenny said.
Our January rental was also paid thanks to their humble donation and they have pledged to also donate toward March rental of the boarding home.
Situated in number Norwood Mthatha, the boarding house accommodates all 20 children, has an office for TA administrators and rooms for matrons and caregivers. It is in a quiet area and a walking distance to a local clinic.
We are always eager and welcome both our donors and prospective donors to schedule a visit and also just spend some quality time with the children, we believe the presence of kind and caring people puts smiles in their faces and offers that extended family atmosphere.
