Sowetho Community
Touching ACTS is an NPO that services the impoverished community of about 100 families which reside in destitute municipal electricity sub-station now called "Sowetho" in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.
Our Programs
Adopt A Child
The NPO is committed in finding companies and or individuals who can adopt a child financially (providing for all educational cost) from current grades to University level.
Renewal of mind
The NPO will partner with relevant organizations and conduct holiday camps and school visits in trying to transform the mind of the beneficiaries so as to produce future leaders.
Adopt a family
The NPO is committed in finding families that will partner with the NPO in trying to produce families out of the broken families in this community.
Better Homes
The NPO is also committed in working with public and private sector in trying to get proper homes for these families.
Boarding Home Activities
More about Jesus, children’s worth and their birthright
Strong foundation on core subjects for more learned and confident students.
Deals with the well-being and restoring children back into a society they feel they belong to.
A reading nation is a winning nation and so strengthening this aspect produces proficient and eloquent pupils.
